In the spirit of the winning prize for the 12th Day of Christmas, Matt and I popped open a bottle of Veuve Clicquot and put on our reading sunglasses in order to pick a winner tonight.
I have to admit, it was kind of tough due to the lack of criteria set in the original post (Matt agreed with this after two glasses of champagne). I mean the only requirement was that your post had to be no more than 50 words. Lord knows he can build a bar, but setting the bar, that’s a different story.
We got a kick out of all of the submissions and for that we thank you. We especially think that Stacie has a great idea we plan to implement in the future – holding a contest of some sort when we have the next giveaway. We’re thinking a talent show or maybe a lip sync contest.
So without further ado, the winner of a trip to New York City, a bottle of Veuve Clicquot and a Botox session with Dr. Adams, is Andy.
His submission was selfless and sweet, and it hit a soft spot in our drunken altruistic hearts.

Because my wife always does without. A supportive wife and doting mother who always puts the kids new snow pants ahead of new shoes; Works full time while juggling both her school work and theirs; She’s my little ray of sunshine and she deserves something she would never ask for.

Oh, that was very sweet; what a great husband Andy is, now I have to measure all men by the kindness that Andy has shone which I’m afraid all (most) will not come near….congrats to Andy and his ray-of-sunshine!
