I have a special request for all you dog owners out there…
I’d like to do a Friday Puppy edition called “Friday Poopy” that consists of photos of your dogs taking a shit.
Wipe that look off your face.
First of all, there are fewer things funnier than the position a dog has to get itself in when taking a shit (by the way, I refuse to use any other sort of junior high school term for “taking a shit”. I’ve never found that kind of humor funny…. except in the case of “Friday Poopy“. that’s just plain cute).
… and secondly, one of the weird rules they had at the Times Union was that I was not allowed to post photos of dog poop. I mean, for the Friday Poopy edition, I’m not really looking for a graphic shot, but rather just your dog in the #2 position. Ka peesh?
It might take a few weeks to put this edition together, but whoever wins this contest will win a $50 Gift Certificate to an online pet store (to be determined… I need to go ask a store to donate the GC to this contest… If not, I’ll just buy it myself for the winner. But I figured it should be an online store so people who don’t live in the 518 can participate.)

Damn wish I knew when I was home, my parents have a Pomeranian and it’s hilarious when it poops, he’s so little and always shakes when going.

It is a MISSION for me to take pics of our dogs doing their #1s or #2s and sending the pics to the wife.

When my dog was alive and we’d walk her at night, down the block to the empty lot (called poop heaven cause that’s where all the dogs went and there was plenty of sniffing going on) she wouldn’t start pooping until a car came by. It was as if the lights on the car made her get all set so someone with their headlights on could spot her. We still laugh at that, and miss our walks to poop heaven.
This idea stinks!

Talk about playling catch with your canine ~ I have a friend that had a female dog that had worms, so he had to chase her around with a bag at her butt to catch her poop to bring it to the vets. The vet didn’t want the poop touching the ground ~ I think he pulled a fast one on my friend!
