well this is exciting, isn’t it? I feel like I just moved into a new apartment and I’ve gotta start putting some artwork on the wall. (speaking of which, is it illegal to charge first, last AND security before a tenant moves in? I’m pretty sure it is. I thought that was normal. But I asked a tenant for that, and she fuhREAKED out on me.)
Anyway, If you’re tuning in for the first time, this is what you can expect: lots of typos, some drunk writing, solid advice you didn’t ask for, positive write-ups on small businesses, and oh… photos of cute puppies on Fridays.
It’s going to be a shizload of fun. And if you don’t think I should be writing about certain topics (like homebirths or my desire to remove the speed limit on the Thruway), then tell me to shut the hell up. (I’ll probably remove your vowels and send you poop in the mail.)
About me. Let’s see, I like vodka, xanax and cupcakes. My favorite meal is my mom’s spaghetti. I have a dog named Niko. I roll burritos and pour Spaten Optimator for a living. That pretty much covers it.

you know, I did not read one single book this entire summer. I tried reading “The Road” and “A Heartbreaking Genius of Staggering Work” or whatever it’s called. But, what with the blogging and the barbecuing, I didn’t have time to rest my mind enough to focus on a book. However, this fall I am setting a goal to finish just one.
Really I think reading is overrated, when the movie comes out I will watch it ! !
One book: Eat Pray Love – a super fast, easy, fun (yet you get some kinda good juju out of it too) read. For all of the Eat part she is like foodgasm’ing thru Italy. I read it when it first came out along with every other single female in the country, but I’m re-reading it now and it is even funnier the second time around. I have literally woken up sleeping people laughing out loud. I promise you, you will love this book!
