I saw this movie last night and absolutely loved it. It’s funny, and sad, and moving. (maybe because it’s a motion picture. Get it? Ha ha. hahaha hahahahhahhahahah!!) Sorry, get serious.
Seriously though… the movie is fantastic. It makes you feel good at times, and then a second later makes you want to jump in front of a very long bus. It’s uplifting to see people born into such horrible situations, only to pull themselves out of it.
I’ve always preferred movies that are darker, rather than happy, popcorn crap. So if you’re not in the mood for a drama, you might want to skip it. Although, believe it or not, Mariah Carey is, like, amaaazing in it. And the girl who plays Precious deserves an academy award.
I am really looking forward to seeing this movie but first I need to buty that medicine I can’t even pronounce, this flu has been fluing in our house for over a month aaaaaaaaaggggggggghhhhhhhh, mabey Calgon can take me away
I sooo cannot wait for this movie! I can’t believe that’s Mariah – I think I like her better without makeup.
Does anyone know when/if it’ll be in Albany??

I am so happy that my beloved Mariah finally did something that does not make me cringe with embarassment for her!
I saw the trailer for Precious today and went out and bought the book like 15 minutes later…. Cant wait to see it!!
I just read the book and am looking forward to seeing the movie!
I cried during the preview for this, it was so powerful..may have to wait a bit..Lol
