a $50 Gift Certificate to Angelo’s 677 Prime!
Angelo’s 677 Prime is my favorite restaurant. (well, when I’m not eating burritos or bratwurst, of course.)
Every. Single. Time. I eat there it’s an amazing meal. From start to finish, they do everything right. Samantha, the bar manager, might be my favorite bartender in Albany, and every single waiter and waitress (server? I’m not sure what they call themselves at fancy restaurants)… but every single server treats each customer like gold. I love it. I feel like customer service, especially food service, is an art form and everyone at Prime understands that.
If you ever have the opportunity, you need to contact Jaime, the executive chef at Prime, and have him put together a tasting menu for you. I think you need to give him like a week’s notice, but I’ve been to 2 of them before and it’s a perfect culinary experience. It’s a little pricey, but it’s worth it if you want to treat someone special to something memorable.

I also had a great time on my only visit to 677 prime till the waiter dumped a plate of oyster juice, wine glasses and other various dirty dishes on our party after we paid well over $200. for dinner. Chards of glass all over each of us and dry clean only dresses covered in oyster juice. Their compensation to us a $25.00 gift certificate for only one of the three of us and an offer to cover the dry cleaning bill for one of us. I will not be going back.
I’m just so upset that Monkeyboy has lost by only one post….as his posting have been so thought provoking.
