I wasn’t a fan, I fast forwarded through that one.
Most of the performances were pretty horrible. Jamie Foxx… dreadful. Ruined the November Rain solo. Even Green Day, who I usually enjoy, was bad. The Michael Jackson tribute sucked. Black Eyed Peas were laugh out loud bad. Taylor Swift was off key throughout her performance.
There were a few ok ones. I was impressed by the the guy’s solo at the end of the Zac Brown Band’s performance, I’d never heard (of) them before. And while I hate Lady Gaga (who looked like Marilyn Manson in drag) her performance with Elton John was ok.
I think my favorite performance was probably the Les Paul tribute with Jeff Beck.

Agreed – I love Pink! I don’t think she gets the recognition she deserves – she’s amazing in my book!

Everyone is talking about this performance this morning including the Today Show. A lot of people don’t realize that Pink was a top notch competitive gymnast before getting into show biz! It was a very beautiful performance.
I found this performance tip-toed the line between beautiful and pretentious.
Still not sure exactly what I felt about it.
It was amazing. I was so afraid she would fall, so that’s all I could think about through most of it. I also thought the Lady Gaga and Elton John duet was good.
What no flaming batons?!!! Come on, I love Pink and she gets props for managing a ballad while imitating a sprinkler (my kids words not mine), but what happened to singing and letting that talent shine? Cirque de Pink…not needed, save it for Vegas when she’s in her 60′s.

Pink was amazing. I just realized last night how good her voice is…then I forgot that she was singing and started thinking about how pissed I would have been if she would have dripped all over my Ralph Lauren suit.

thought the Green Day performance was good too. and i have hated them for 10 years now.
I kept wondering about the people below getting wet. She sounded beautiful, the first part of the performance was simply awesome, but the spinning in the air thing just confused me.
Pink has an amazing voice and is so talented and because she doesn’t fall into what the mainstream media wants in an artists she doesn’t get the credit she deserves!!!! And to be able to sing so beautifully while she was spinning is amazing! Also, what a killer body she has!!!

To #9 Mark: She was singing live the whole time. Pink does not lip sync.
I was fortunate to see her live, in Boston, back in Oct. Her tour theme is Fun House, hence the acrobatics. She truly is an amazing singer and performer!
Pink is the sexiest woman alive. Period.
