Remember Andrew Sobotka?  The Friday Puppy blogger in Chicago?

Well he is all over the press lately.  Listen to this…  Andrew plays on a gay hockey team in Chicago.  (hot).   He is also the President (hotter.)   As President, Andrew invited the Blackhawk’s Brent Sopel to participate in the Chicago Gay Pride Parade, and he said YES… with the Stanley Cup!  (white hot.)  For the first time in history, the Stanley Cup will be riding on the gay hockey team’s float in the Chicago gay pride parade.  This ALSO marks the first time that a national sporting trophy will be in a pride parade, as well as the first time that an active professional athlete will be in the parade.

That’s incredibly awesome.  Ferris Bueller (Friday Puppy web designer, my cross out function isn’t working!! waaaaah.) Andrew Sobotka, you’re my hero.

And look at all the major news organizations covering the story.  To think I once knew Andrew when he used to play Trivia at Bombers and get free drinks all night because Audra the waitress thought he was cute.  Look at all these stories!!!
