The New York Times dot com has a fascinating section today called the Unplugged Challenge, where people voluntarily decided to give up technology (internet, cell phone, etc.) for a period of time.  And they share their experiences.

Doesn’t that sound amazing, to be completely off the grid?  I miss the days when you would come back to your house and check your answer machine to see who called.
