By the time this posts, I will be knee deep in Hawaiaan Tropic (I never know how to spell that frickin state) and hopefully basking in the hot sun in Miami, Florida, all while catching up on my reading (US Weekly) and drinking pretty much anything that has a Rum in it. “Today we have a cocktail special called “The Rum…” “I’LL TAKE IT!”
That’s right. I am on vacation!
It has only been two days, and I am here for 5. By day three, I will be bored, anxious, hungover, and looking into flights back to NY. Time has proven that I am a 3 day vacationer. Anything longer than that and I start to panic. Like someone smart once said, “Guests, like fish, start to stink after three days.” I feel the same way about vacations.
Anyway, enough about me.
Welcome back to Friday Puppy. We have a batch of very cute dogs this week. And I’d like to take the opportunity to say congratulations to Chopper from Ballston Lake, NY , who won last week’s contest and is the proud owner of a brand new gift certificate to Bombers Burrito Bar.

Tough choice. Holy is adorable with those flying ears. Jameson looks like a blonde version of my “doodle” (Labradoodle) Maggie, and dooodles are just great.

Thank you Choppersmama, I’m obviously a Boxer fan as well. Brie was so tuckered out when I took this picture after training class. I wish all the puppies in the competition this week best of luck. All of our pups are wonderful and CUTE :)
Brie is sooooo cute. How could you not fall in love with a boxer? She looks so exhausted to have fallen asleep with her head up on the center armrest? Her brindle coloring is beautiful.
Holly’s action scene is cute, and Mia’s ‘who me’ look from the back seat is priceless. Hadley’s eyes, my goodness! Jameson has the ‘are we done yet’ look, and Milo with his typical pug expression. Kohl has a nice stance, but seems less cute and more structured, plus he’s an outsider, lol.
All in all I think this week is a hard one, but I’m sticking to my love of Boxers.

Yes! Mia is a 2 month old harliquin dane, she’s growing so fast its increadable to watch, she’s getting so heavy I can barely pick her up anymore, and she has very large feet so I suspect she’s going to be pretty tall :)

In terms of your post this week please feel free to keep your certificate. I don’t actually want it. Well I do love bombers I agree this week wasn’t fair. I had a whole post typed out this AM and then decided to vote instead. When I looked at the blog last Friday afternoon when I realized the voting had begun I saw that Brie and Holly were neck in neck for the lead. I actually casted my vote for Khol cause I didn’t want any dog or their owner to feel that the didn’t have the cutest puppy. Then out of no where I saw that Kohls owner had started to cheat. Khol suddenly had half the votes and this obviously could not have been based on popular voting. I did proceed to vote multiple times. I actually voted for all the dogs besides Kohl not just for Brie. I wanted to even out the votes again. Yet every time I evened them all out Kohls owners would power play the voting again. I had not payed any attention to the voting again till this AM. I saw that Kohls owner had done it again and I didn’t have to time to even it all back out. Instead I did just vote for Brie as she was the next one in rankings. I was actually told by past competitors how to reset my Internet to re-vote. I have to agree that it took the fun out of it that I had intended initially. Two wrongs don’t make a right but I took that road. I kept getting pissed that one person thought so highly of themselves and their dog to lower everyone else’s score.
So in ending, well I do think Brie is the cutest puppy of all time, I don’t want any certificate. Honestly I didn’t even know at the time I signed her up that there was any prize other than bragging rights.

Is Brie Queen Bee from homeward bound dog rescue?!!? Because if so, I have her sister!!!!! She is adorable!!
She is actually from a breeder in Gloversville. I’m sure your girl is beautiful if she has Brie’s markings. Boxers are such a beautiful breed. Enjoy your girl Briana, I’m sure she’s as wonderful and full of life as my little one. :)
